Betsy Hedrick specializes in audits of local governments and governmental entities, including counties, cities, towns, authorities, boards and commissions. She has provided assistance to many clients with the implementation of new Governmental Accounting Standards Board statements. She also serves privately held trucking and manufacturing companies.
Betsy has been recognized by Virginia Business magazine and the VSCPA as a Super CPA, a recognition bestowed on a select number of practitioners in the Commonwealth. Her most recent recognition was as a Super CPA in the Government/Non-profit practice category.
While she was interested in business and numbers for as long as she can remember, helping clients succeed and feel satisfied in their efforts is her driving force. She also thrives on the team approach her work demands.
Betsy is driven by an altruistic sense of purpose to help make the world a better place, particularly through service-centered organizations. She is an active board member of Open Doors, a homeless shelter in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County. She is also a past member of the Kiwanis Club of Harrisonburg.
